  • Southwest Montana School Services (SWMSS) has joined forces with the Montana Educational Curriculum Consortium (MECC). Not only does this union allow SWMSS to expand the education services to our member schools in the form of curriculum development, but it also opens the door to the following added benefits:

    • collaborative professional development centered around this curriculum
    • consortium purchasing for curriculum-related supplies
    • a collaborative environment in which curriculum is re-evaluated to ensure it is meeting and exceeding state mandates
    • an updated platform - future plans include marrying the MECC curriculum with an online platform that will allow teachers to better measure their progress with state standards and share lesson plans with other teachers using the same curriculum.

Access to the benefits of the curriculum consortium does require additional dues. If interested in learning more about the benefits of membership, please contact Jeff Blessum, Director of Education Services.
